Where everything is born: our workshop
The laboratory where you can restore an antique Berkel machine
La Bottega del Restauro has its heart in its Berkel laboratory, the first and only one in the world completely dedicated to the restoration of antique Berkel slicers and scales.
The structure is 400sqm, of which 180sqm are used as a warehouse for spare parts and for the storage of old Berkel flywheel machines. The Berkel workshop includes a disassembly/assembly area and a machining area with lathe, milling machine and drill press. The company also has a painting area, with floor filtration and a decoration zon. Furthermore, in the centre of the workshop there is the first spray booth for Berkel slicers, which was built in cooperation with the company GL Termomeccanica. Thanks to our joint experiences, we have developed a cabin that allows perfect drying of the colour.
We are proud to show our customers where and how our restorations take place: our workshop is where these luxury tools are repaired and renewed. Our pride is craftsmanship: this is why we certify with a 10-year guarantee each of our fine antique machines. Contact us to find out about slicers and request a free quotation.
